"Before starting with Michael, I struggled with the clarity of my essays and it has been a personal issue for a long time. However, Michael swiftly located and tackled this issue extremely well. So well in fact that I moved from a Grade 6  to a Grade 9 in my final essay for school. This was only over a five month period. It also gave me a confidence with public speaking and social interactions too. His teaching atmosphere is very comfortable and he speaks to me with the respect of a colleague. "I hghly recommend the lovely creative writing workshop. So pleased my daughter (aged 7) attended. She had become increasingly reluctant to write anything at all over the course of lockdown but during the workshop sessions Imogen was able to support her to produce a beautifully crafted story booklet. I think the wonderful garden setting for the workshop surrounded by open fields also provided inspiration, including features such as a kitchen garden with homemade scarecrow, tadpoles, bunnies and a hedgehog! My daughter really appreciated being able to concentrate on her writing in a variety of special little hideaways hand built in the garden like the treehouse, summer house and mud kitchen. Imogen’s positive encouragement and fun activities (a puppet show being one highlight) helped nurture renewed excitement and enthusiasm for creative writing, leading my daughter to suggest that we spend the whole weekend afterwards doing more reading and writing"
